The Band Shell was constructed by the Houston Lions Club as a multi-purpose venue for all kinds of activities. It has been the home to the Root River Triathlon, Lawn Chair Concert Series, Gravel Cup, Hoedown Queen coronation, graduation parties, garage sales, award ceremonies, and even a wedding!
