The Natural Playground, completed in 2013, is a great place for kids to get out and be active in nature! With a variety of elements, there are plenty of options and opportunities for kids to learn and play.
This one-acre playground was designed especially for Trailhead Park. Here you’ll find a spacious play area with large sand area, a hand water pump and sluice, stone tunnels and caves, pedestal pipes to play, a slide, willow tunnel, and more! You’ll also find wrap-around tree benches, picnic tables and picnic shelter with tables. It’s the perfect place to play!
As of the fall of 2017, we’ve added a raised tree house accessed by a swinging bridge and exited by a fireman’s pole and a rope. It takes you up in the canopy without building into a tree. The view of the playground and pond is tremendous!
